SCALINX’s Digital Verification team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Emulation Technical Leader who will actively contribute to the chip/subsystems level digital verifications. In this role, the candidate will technically drive the Emulation activity as part of verification strategy and execution for state-of-theart SoCs, and will be in close collaboration with digital design (RTL) engineers, software engineers and Silicon Validation engineers.
Work description
- Technically lead the Emulation activity as part of the Digital Verification (DV) team, to successfully verify state-of-the-art ASICs.
- Define Emulation methodologies and flow improvements
- Participate, in close collaboration with other technical leaders, to the ASIC verification strategy
- Participate in writing Subsystems and Top Level verification plans, in close interactions with pure Simulation (UVM-based) verifications plans
- Develop Subsystems and Top Level self-checking testbenches & testcases for Emulation
- Generate Emulator images for SCALINX internal teams and for customer usage purpose
- Support the Software team activity on the Emulation platform
- Support the Silicon Validation team for the evaluation of the manufactured ASIC
- Participate to the test procedures following company QA policy
Qualification and Experience
- You have a MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 8+ years of hands-on experience in chip-level and circuit-level digital verification
- You have a solid background in digital electronic and RTL design understanding and verification
- You have a solid background in ASIC Emulation, especially on Cadence tools (Palladium)
- You have a solid background in System Verilog testbench development
- You have a solid background in scripting languages such as Python, Makefile, etc...
- You have a solid background in CPU verification (ARM, RISC V) and C-oriented testing
- A previous experience in the verification of Interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, and DRAM is a plus
- A previous experience with UVM methodology is a plus
- A previous significant experience in SystemC is a plus
- A previous significant experience in Gate-Level Simulation and/or DFT is a plus
- You are creative and proactive
- You are a Team player with a critical attitude and sense of initiative
- You demonstrate very good analytical and problem-solving skills
- You communicate fluently in English (oral and written)
